MHG Services Inc. is currently seeking a candidate for the position of International Accountant Trainee. The position is based out of MHG’s Fort Lauderdale office. Accommodation and stipend provided.
Education: University education in Accounting. One year of relevant experience is desired.
Compensation: The trainee is offered housing and a stipend to cover all living expenses.
Duration of training period: 12 to 18 months. Start date as soon as possible or in the beginning of October.
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Description of the position: The trainee will be exposed to an international work environment and will work on a variety of accounting functions for the MHG Group of Companies. The training and responsibilities include accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end and year-end journal entries, assisting in the preparation of sound accounting policies and procedures under generally accepted accounting principles, assisting in the preparation of Financial Statements, and taking charge of ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications: Proficiency in Accounting Software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Good organizational skills and able to take own initiatives
Strong analytical and research skills
Excellent command of the English Language both written and oral
