The Forum of Young Global Leaders (www.younggloballeaders.org) is an independent, Geneva-based foundation set up in partnership with the World Economic Forum. Its mission is to build a unique, multistakeholder community of the world’s most extraordinary leaders under the age of 40, improve their leadership skills, and give them the opportunity to work collaboratively on projects that will address key issues facing our world. The community includes heads of state and government, politicians, CEOs of multinational companies, entrepreneurs, scientists, journalists, artists, social entrepreneurs and civil society leaders. They work on projects to address global challenges with particular focus in the areas of development and poverty, global governance and security, environment, health and education. Each year, the Forum of Young Global Leaders identifies and engages a new group of 200 exceptional men and women in business, politics, academia, the media and civil society from every region in the world. Together, they form a powerful international force for the global common good.
