Acne Studios is a Swedish fashion company that designs, markets and distributes jeans and high end fashion. Acne’s products are sold through 600 retailers in more than 40 countries and more than 20 Acne studios (concept stores) in Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Paris, Amsterdam, Sydney, New York, Berlin and London, among others. Acne has a yearly turnover of over 400 MSEK. The headquarter is located in the Old Town in Stockholm, and employs 60 people. Apart from the Stockholm office, Acne has showrooms/offices in Paris, Copenhagen, Oslo, London, Amsterdam and New York City.  

JOB DESCRIPTION  

We are looking for a dedicated professional, who is energetic and hard working. Acne can offer you an opportunity to grow and develop within the company. The trainee will be mentored by and report to the CFO. 
Being a Trainee in our Finance Department is highly demanding.  The job provides you with a broad understanding  

·   Basic accounting

·   Financial analysis and controlling

·   Project management

·   Monthly closing and reporting

·   Further accounting  matters

·   Writing reports and correspondence

·   Assisting CFO and CEO in various matters 

After successfully completing a 12–18 months’ traineeship, our goal is to promote you to a management position within Acne Studios.  

QUALIFICATIONS  

 ·    At a minimum, a BSc in Accounting

 ·    Strong numerical and analytical skills and knowledge of accounting and financial techniques

·    Strong communication skills in written and spoken English and Swedish

·    Work experience within retail and/or the fashion industry is preferred

·    Entrepreneurial, highly driven with a good business sense

 ·    Humble and hard working of our business and gives a solid basis for future development within the company. Your assignments will range from complex analyses to more standardized follow-up tasks. You will mainly work with day-to-day tasks within the finance department, but occasionally be involved in larger projects.
